KNM-ER 816 is an isolated left maxillary canine and some tooth fragments classified as that from a Paranthropus boisei [1][2]. These were found in Area 104 of Koobi Fora at 4m below the A2 marker in the KBS member and stratigraphically dated to ~1.78 Ma [3][4]

 

Description

KNM-ER 816 is composed of KNM-ER 816A and KNM-ER 816B-E.
