The Grotte de Pestillac is a prehistoric decorated cave located in the Lot department, on the territory of the commune of Montcabrier.
Thirty-nine engravings have been identified in the cave. We can see female figures, horses and a bovid, perhaps a reindeer and ibex, and a sign panel. The animal figures partially represent them and have few details.
The female figures are close to those of Lalinde and Couze, in Dordogne, and those of Gönnersdorf, in Germany. They would date the cave to the final Magdalenian. This dating was confirmed by Alain Turq and Michel Lorblanchet.
