The Cassegros cave or Laguiraudenque cave is a cave decorated with paintings of animals (horse, ibex) and engravings, located in the territory of the commune of Trentels, in the French department of Lot-et-Garonne. It is the only decorated cave in Lot-et-Garonne. She was occupied in Badegoulien.
There is a representation of the head of a quadruped animal (perhaps an ibex) in red ocher in the gallery, a head of a black horse, and a series of non-figurative engravings in the well room. These artefacts are altered by calcite deposition.
Many pieces of the lithic industry have been discovered. Part of these is exhibited at the National Museum of Prehistory. The deposits show occupations in the Upper Solutrean, the Early Magdalenian (layer tinted with red ocher which seems identical to that of the painting) and the Early Magdalenian with scrapers.
