The Grotte de Bernifal is an ornate Paleolithic cave located in the commune of Meyrals, Dordogne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France.
Bernifal Cave was occupied by humans in Magdalenian times, between about −15,000 and −10,000 years ago. They leave signs and animals painted and engraved.
It was rediscovered in 1902 by Denis Peyrony. Louis Capitan and Father Breuil studied it afterward, followed by Brigitte and Gilles Delluc in 1994 and 1995. Since May 27, 1904, it is classified as a historical monument.
