The Great Cave of Arcy-sur-Cure is part of the site of the Arcy-sur-Cure caves, which are located in the commune of Arcy-sur-Cure in the department of Yonne in Burgundy, France. It is a prehistoric archaeological site and a cave decorated with parietal art.
28,000-year-old parietal paintings, the oldest currently known in France after those in the Chauvet cave, were discovered there in 1990; they are in this country the oldest known parietal paintings accessible to the public.
Engravings prior to the paintings are also there.
